Because a year paid up front costs the same as nine months of the monthly price — three months free. Creator: €135 a year instead of €180, so €45 back in your pocket. Studio: €405 a year instead of €540, so €135 back. That's 25% either way. Nothing about the software differs between the two.
Yes, both directions, any time, from your account. Stripe prorates the switch, so you are credited for the unused part of what you already paid rather than paying twice for the same days.
You commit to one year at a time and it renews yearly until you cancel. You can cancel at any point — you keep the plan until the end of the year you paid for. Within the first 14 days you can also take the full refund below and walk away.
No. The 14-day trial starts without card details. That also means the trial cannot roll into a charge by accident — if you never add a card, you are never billed.

Free gives you 1 machine at 720p with basic animated text, the virtual camera, and a Pop Magics watermark on the output. Creator raises the output to 1080p, unlocks 3D stickers and AR plus live Twitch/YouTube alerts, and removes the watermark. Studio adds 4 more machines, 4K image exports, the advanced 3D toolkit and the white-label add-on.
Free and Creator cover 1 machine; Studio covers 5. Machines are bound when you activate them and you can free a seat from your account by deactivating one — useful when you replace a laptop.
